Fall fishing in Charlotte Harbor is delivering some exciting action! Here’s what we’re seeing on the water right now:
Inshore Action:
- Redfish: Biting well along the West Wall, making for some fantastic light-tackle fun.
- Sea Trout: Plentiful on the grass flats in Turtle Bay, with a few nice Pompano mixed in to keep things interesting.
- Snook: Hot around the mangroves, offering excellent opportunities for casting enthusiasts.
- Live shrimp and small topwater plugs are proving to be highly effective for these inshore favorites.
Nearshore & Passes:
- The gulf passes and nearshore reefs are teeming with Spanish mackerel, providing fast-paced action.
- Anglers are also hooking into Kingfish and schools of Bonito, adding excitement to nearshore trips.
- Gold spoons have been the lure of choice for Spanish mackerel, delivering great results.
Nighttime Fishing:
- The 41 Bridge is producing well after dark, with Tarpon and Snook providing thrilling battles for nighttime anglers.
