· Capt. Glenn Sharp
We have had a very windy stretch of weather the last two weeks, with a constant north to northeast wind at 10 to 20 mph. On top of that, our water temps have cooled off almost 10 degrees.
The wind has limited our fishing spots, but we have found some schools of jack crevalle over in the Bull Bay area of Charlotte Harbor, some scattered redfish on the flats and a few snook around some of the docks in Punta Gorda Isles.

A few Spanish mackerel are chasing bait schools in Gasparilla Sound, and there has been a good ladyfish bite along the east wall and off Cape Haze.

Live shrimp and pinfish have been the best baits. We also found two nice permit on the edge of a deeper flat.
