Punta Gorda Tarpon Fishing Charter
Charlotte Harbor and Boca Grande hold one of the best tarpon fisheries anywhere, and the peak season charter is built around it: a full day on the harbor with Capt. Glenn putting you in front of fish. Peak season is April through June.
The four hour evening dock lights trip is a different animal. Smaller tarpon, close quarters, and fishing the dock lights after dark. It is a good first tarpon trip.
Tarpon fishing is catch and release. Expect jumps, expect long fights, and expect Capt. Glenn to coach you through it rather than hand you a bent rod.
